Wheels Up

My Peace Corps journey has officially begun, and it’s been mayhem. I’ve had 4 hours of sleep across 2 nights, I’ve already spent 5 hours on planes and buses, and I’m preparing to spend 21 hours more on different planes and buses.

I spent yesterday with the 35 other volunteers in my cohort, getting to know each other over Peace Corps workshops, pitchers of beer, 2 am bus rides, and last minute baggage weight redistribution.

Tomorrow I’ll arrive in Lesotho via South Africa, and the real work will begin. This might be my last post for a while, as it’s likely I won’t have Internet access for the next 3 weeks. Let’s do this!
