About Me

I’m Jillian and I’m a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Lesotho from 2015-2017. I updated this blog regularly during my service, and now I’m keeping it around as a record of my time there.

During my time in Lesotho, I lived in a small, rural village in the mountainous district of Thaba-Tseka. I worked at a primary school, where I co-taught English and Life Skills. I also worked with a community women’s group and planned a variety of events around HIV/AIDS mitigation.

The content of this website is mine alone and does not necessarily reflect the views of the U.S. Government, the Peace Corps, or the government of Lesotho.
